Safe in the South West

The Safe in the South West program is strengthening the capacity of South West Victorian community in supporting young people who identify same-sex attracted, sex and gender diverse.

SAFE in the South West (Video 2014)

SAFE in the South West is a program run by Brophy Family & Youth Services in Warrnambool. In August, 2014, Warrnambool held its first ever Drag Show. In that same week, Safe in the South West held a series of Transgender/Gender diverse workshops to educate the community and to build an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding.

LGBTIQ+ is an abbreviation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, as well as myriad of other communities under the rainbow umbrella (such as asexual/pansexual etc)
