Men and Family Relationships Program

Our service provides support for men who want to build better relationships with their parterns, children or other family members.

Some of the issues and challenges our service assist with for men and their families include: Family Relationships Building trust and respect Family conflict                                                                                                            Family violence Past childhood issues Communication issues Parenting First time dad Being a good dad Step parenting and blended families Living with teenagers Separation Life after separation Parenting after separation Also Depression and anxiety Grief and loss Self esteem

Who can use our program?

Our service is designed specifically to assist men and their families.  All family members including partners, ex-partners, children, step-children, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents and grandparents can use this service.

Aims of the Men and Family Relationship Service

Our service aims to assist men and their family members to maintain positive family relationships during times of change - when you're forming new relationships, following the birth of a child, during separation or divorce, when re-partnering or retiring.

Accessing the Service

Men can enter this service by self-referring (phone or by visiting the office of Brophy Family and Youth Services) or through contact with another professional or community agency.

The Men and Family Relationship Services are funded by the Australian Government.
