Kinship Information and Advice Service

The Kinship care program provides support to family or friends who have taken on the responsibility for the full time care of child or young person within their family or friendship group.
The program provides support via three program areas;
Kinship Care Family Services
Kinship Care Advice and information
Kinship Care Placement Support
Kinship Care Advice and is available to Kinship carers, family members, community and professional services to assist with service information, carer support and referral pathways.
This service provides:
- Phone or face-to-face contact
- Monthly Support Groups meetings
- Training and education
- Kinship events for children/young people and carers
- Intake for new referrals
