Quality Accreditation
Brophy Family and Youth Services is committed to a culture of continuous quality improvement which ensures quality services are delivered to our clients and stakeholders.
We are accredited through Quality Innovation Performance on a 3 year accreditation cycle under the following sets of standards:
Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) - Full accreditation in July 2017
Department of Health and Human Services: Human Services Standards - Full Accreditation in March 2018.
Quality Improvement Council: Health and Community Services Standards - Full Accreditation in March 2018, achieving 2 exceeds in the areas of: Collaboration and Strategic Positioning and Community and Professional Capacity Building.
Gay & Lesbian Health Victoria Standards: Rainbow Tick Standards - Full Accreditation in March 2018, we are now one of 25 agencies and services across Australia to be accredited under these standards.
National Standards for Mental Health Services – Full accreditation in March 2018
At the 2018 accreditation the surveyors noted:
“ Brophy are known in the sector as willing collaborators with a genuine commitment to improve outcomes and develop services in the region to improve outcomes for young people and families".
“ Client feedback highlights the achievements made by clients through having choices and opportunities opened up to them through their links with Brophy. If not for Brophy young people noted that "they do not know where they would currently be".
